The Fred Searcy and The Macworld Podcast
This year Fred Searcy of the South Campus Biology Department attended the Macworld Conference in San Francisco, California. He was kind enough to share his experiences with us this past Friday in our new Podcast Studio. He not only talks about the conference, but among other things, his podcasting plans for the future, how he uses his podcasts in his classroom and the impact of his podcasts on other faculty.

Podcasting has become a part of the distance learning program at Broward Community College in FT. Lauderdale, Florida. On Friday the second of February David Shulman and I presented a workshop presentation at the College's Professional Development Day entitled "Becoming a Podcast Professional at BCC". Professional Development Day is a day of workshops and activities designed to help the staff and faculty of the college sharpen their skills and knowledge in many different areas. We were honored to be included in the line up. As a service to those who missed the presention by attending other activities or for those who just could not get enough of podcasting the first time around we have included the entire workshop as a bobCast podcast. This podcast runs almost an hour in length but it includes all of the workshop from beginning to end.
